Blyth Steam Festival

Are you ready for a dose of nostalgia?
If you’re interested in steam powered
vehicles, old gas engines, fiddle music, tractor pulls, classic cars, or craft
and food vendors, this is the place to be. The rally will run Wed., Sept. 7 to
Sun. the 11th, 2016 in Blyth, Ontario. The festival starts on Sept. 9th.
We will be camping on the event grounds
with elec. and water. Reservations are not permitted, so we will meet in the
parking lot of The Old Mill www.theoldmill.ca
at 10:00am on Sept. 7 and convoy to the
grounds to camp together, then on your own to explore the town of Blyth.
In the evening we will have a meet & greet happy hour with wine and
cheese provided. Thursday, we will be taking an escorted, full day trip to tour
the towns of Kincardine, Goderich and Bayfield along the shore of Lake Huron. We
will have time to browse the shops and have lunch at one of Goderich’s fine
restaurants. You will be on your own to
take in the Threshers Festival, Fri., Sat., leaving at your leisure Sunday.
A continental breakfast will be provided
on three of the mornings.
If you wish to camp close to Blyth on September 6th,
there are two campgrounds located within a 30 min. drive of Blyth. They are
Falls Reserve Conservation Area

Cost of Roadtrek and two people is $170 Canadian or $134
US.
Cost of Roadtrek and one person is $85 Canadian or $67 US.
Cost of extra person is $85 Canadian or $67 US.
Price includes the coach tour with lunch & gratuities,
happy hour and breakfasts.
The cost of four
nights of camping is extra; $100 Canadian, in cash, which is payable on entrance
to the park. Includes entrance to the festival.
